Cycle Counting is a tool that is used to determine the current state of an account’s inventory compared to the current records shown in Zenventory. Depending on a warehouse’s needs, a Cycle Count can be performed daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly. Literally any time that a count on your inventory is needed, Zenventory is ready to go!
Granted, it is important to make sure inventory is accurate. Cycle Counting increases accuracy by doing a full inventory count, then breaking it down into small batches. We understand the importance of convenience in having digital and printing options available. So we’ve made it possible for Cycle Count to track inventory in real time right onto your Zenventory when you’re connected to a scanner and an internet connection. Not to worry though, you can also print out hard copies of your Cycle Count batches and enter them manually after checking stock.
By always being on top of your inventory levels, the theft of stock can be greatly reduced. Employees will always know how well the inventory is being tracked. Alerts will be sent out when the inventory levels are uneven or low. The increase in productivity and the cost savings go without saying.
So here we are, excited to announce our latest development! Zenventory would like to introduce two new features for its users: Cycle Count Approval and Adjustment Authorization Permissions.
When a Cycle Count is completed, it isn’t officially entered into Zenventory until it is approved by the stock administrator. Permissions are controlled in the Admin menu where one can also grant permissions for users to conduct Cycle Counts or restricting users from creating them.
