HOW ZENVENTORY HELPS
Built for real 3PL workflows
Automatic FEFO / FIFO stock rotation
Don’t leave freshness up to chance. Zenventory supports both FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) and FIFO (First-In, First-Out) workflows, automatically prioritizing items closest to expiration for picking and shipping. That way, older stock moves first, reducing waste and minimizing the risk of expired goods slipping through.
Batch & lot-level management
Track expiration dates at the batch or lot level, even across multiple warehouses and clients. When products arrive, record their expiration dates - Zenventory logs them, links them to lot numbers, and tracks them through receiving, storage, picking, and shipping.
Real-time alerts & expiry notifications
Get automated alerts when items approach expiration so you can proactively move or phase out perishable stock. This gives you time to action deals, discounts, or returns, while also preventing expired products from sitting unsold in storage.
Safe order fulfillment & recall ready traceability
Every pick and shipment is fully traceable: lot number, expiration date, warehouse location, and client assignment. So, if a recall or quality issue arises, you can quickly identify which units are affected, where they are, and which clients received them - protecting both your reputation and your clients’ trust.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Can Zenventory adapt to different types of perishable goods?
How does auto allocation work for products with expiration dates?
If a product ordered is perishable and has its expiration date logged in Zenventory, our system will compare expiration dates when selecting which product to allocate from within a location. While this allocation will typically correlate to a FIFO (First-In, First-Out), it is important to note that Zenventory will always prioritize an earlier expiration date over the date the item was received.
Is Zenventory easy to integrate with my current operations?
Zenventory is designed to be user-friendly and easily integrates with your existing operations, making the transition smooth and stress-free. Our goal is to enhance your inventory management processes without causing disruptions.
