Things at Zenventory have been ramping up for new customizations and functionalities requested by you, our customers. Because we take so much pride in not only listening to the voice of the customer but by also creating a user experience that is easy to use and tailored to fit your needs. Turning attention towards 3PL companies, Zenventory has just released a new feature that allows users to enter in all the online stores used by their customers. This allows inventory shared across multiple online marketplaces to be reflected all on Zenventory.
Adding these client stores is simple enough after you set your ShipStation account. Under Admin>System>Integration, you can integrate your ShipStation account under shipping and then connect client stores from there using the blue icon pictured to the right.
With further connections to outside vendors or customers of your own, you now have the ability to mark items as Drop Ship. When you add a new item or go back to edit an existing one, a check box will allow users to show an item in Zenventory. It will not affect stock levels but will instead bypass the normal fulfillment steps. The purchase order will reflect the other items in your stock as usual. Note, that when you check off an item as Drop Ship, you will not be able to enter any serial numbers, expiration dates, or lot numbers. This ensures that your stock levels will not be impacted by these external items.
And finally, Zenventory has an exciting stocking stuffer for you this December. We will be rolling out the new Zen Mobile App, available on Android and Apple devices as well as Motorola rugged handhelds like the MC40 and the TC55. With a slick new interface and simplified user functions, the Zen Mobile App makes it simple for employees to manage stock and conduct cycle counts in the warehouse using just a Wi-Fi connection and a handheld or mobile device. So while we don’t condone peeking under the wrapping paper before the big day, we figured we’d let you have a look at some of the new interface that you get to look forward to in the next coming weeks.
